Leah Taylor began her dance experience at the age of three at Herndon's Dance Center. At nine years old, she began traveling and competing with Herndon's Dance Company. During the time Leah danced with Herndon's, she was able to travel to Chicago, Tampa and New York City. Leah is honored to have been able to train with such instructors as Robert Atwood, Mia Michaels and Honey Rockwell among many others. She has taken classes at studios such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Martha Graham Dance Center of Contemporary Dance, Steps, Broadway Dance Center and Gus Giordano's Dance Theatre. Growing up, she also took dance class at Nancy Pugh Conservatory and was a member of Dance companies: Dunbar Ballet Company, Moving Images Dance Company and Parapluie Dance Company. Leah Graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2006, where she was a Golden Girl. Since that time, she has been teaching dance for the Dance Center and in 2008 married her best friend, Bert Taylor.
